This show is funny. 4 guys who were sitting around{like most young men these days} watching the world fly by them{probably playing X-box} and making a decision to make a list of all the things they want to do before they die. They buy a bus, paint it purple with the list on the side, and head out.
The last episode I watched, they were trying to accomplish their dream of playing basketball with President Obama. they failed the attempt, but my daughter tells me that they eventually do. hmmmm.. not on my TO do list, BUT best of luck to them. I am actually looking forward to the episode where these 4 young men help deliver a baby... ha!
This has sparked my daughter to write her Bucket List, and she already has crossed off, "Jumping from a bridge"{thanks to her dad!} Her list scares me actually. She is much more daring than me. Her dads list would probably make my heart cringe. He is even more daring than she is.
I on the other hand have been pondering these thoughts and ideas. I play it safe. I dont like to take risks. I am not daring. I like the security of everyday life. But, obviously there must be things I want to do before I die. Right?
So, heres just a few that I came up with:
swim with dolphins{so cliche}run a marathon{not me!}- ok. Get a pedicure or manicure. I know. Its silly, but I never have.
- meet Barbara Bush.
- build a barn house.
- Skydive.
- sing karaoke in a bar.
- visit New York.
- volunteer at a hospital.
- sew a dress{or any type of clothing}
- fly an airplane.
- become a graphic designer.
- graffiti a train{oops, is that illegal?}
- Take my kids to disney land and Hawaii.
- stroke David Beckhams six pack. {ok, or my husbands!}
- Work on a photography project with my dad.
- Visit Amsterdam.
- Go on a safari. {and can it be in an AMAZING Land Rover?}
- Go on a mission trip.
What are some things you dream of doing before you die?

I too, am not an adreneline junkie. (except from the kind you get from a good goodwill find). My list is short and sweet. Visit new york in Dec. ( to see the rockettes)
Be a rockette. (I'd only have to grow 3-5 inches)
visit Germany and find someone who might be related to me.
Go to Italy for the visual and edible delights.
That's really it. I'm surrounded by love, so who could really ask for more? :)
keep up the great posts. I enjoy reading them!
I saw the first season of this show and now I am hooked, even if I am an "older" watcher! It is very interesting and I love how they do for others along their journey. My mother and her Sunday school classmates started doing this, they are helping each other fulfill at least 6 wishes or buried life items. I think it is great! Need to get busy on mine I guess.

P.S. some of my buried life list is;
Go on a vacation to the land of my birth, England, Scotland and Ireland.
Write a Children's book.
Have a photograph published.
Hang glide.
See Barbra Streisand sing live.
Go to Brimfield's Antique Show.
Help paint a mural.

My list is HUGE!!! So much life to live and no enough time to live it!So I will start with the really impossible ones..they are always the funnest to dream about..
-Travel for an entire YEAR non-stop.
-Sit in on a hearing at the UN with one of the head phone thingys that translate what the people are saying.
-Have dinner at the French Laundry with like 5 of my most favorite people in the whole wide world and be able to pay for it myself by using CASH that I earned all by myself.
I don't want to be a comment hog so I will stop there..but oh how much fun is dreaming!
